According to the introduction of foreign document, toroidal power transformer can be dividedinto standard, economy and isolated three categories. Each kind has thefollowing features.

Standard power transformer has capacity about 8-1500VA with small voltageregulation. The temperature rise is only 40℃ when the power transformer in fullload operation. Short-time over load operation is permitted. And this situationis suitable for some cases of high requirement. It need to use B-level(130℃)polyester film used as electrical insulation in the initial stage of winding.Three-layer insulation tape at least are included in the power transformer. Sothat can bear AC 4000V, and 1min of the pressure test.
The economic power transformer has capacity about 50-1500VA with low costand good performance. It suitable for being used in constant operatingsituations but not over loading. The operation temperature rise is 60℃.Insulation material belongs to A-level(105℃). And the output voltage error isless than 3% when full loading.
Isolation power transformer's capacity is 50 ~ 1000VA. It can be dividedinto industrial and medical equipment. Isolation transformer emphasized itsisolation performance. It need to use B-level(130℃) isolated polyester filmwhich need to be packed 4 layer used as electrical insulation in the primary andsecondary stage of winding.. All the primary conductor must be double-insulated.The power transformer' maximum rising temperature must be lower than 45℃
